The Role
- Support the day-to-day HSE function across the project.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, observations and risk assessments.
- Review SWMS, permits and high-risk construction activities.
- Monitor crane operations, lifting, working at heights and other critical activities.
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions and safety reporting.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Engage with subcontractors and site teams to drive a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company and project requirements.
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a Safety/HSE role within Australian construction.
- Previous high-rise, commercial or residential construction experience.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and contractor engagement.
- Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and senior management.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety.
- Relevant WHS qualifications.
