Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Sales Estimator to join their team based in Shoalhaven. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in residential construction, estimating, drafting, or construction administration who is looking to join a respected and growing builder.
Working closely with New Home Consultants and the Operations team, you will play a key role in preparing client estimates, maintaining pricing and product data, and supporting the delivery of high-quality residential homes across a range of projects.
About the Role
This position supports both the estimating and sales functions across residential home builds. You will be involved in pricing, product maintenance, variations, data management, and preparation of client quotations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing estimates and supporting New Home Consultants with client quotes
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and preliminary project documentation
- Interpreting soil reports, site contours, bushfire assessments, structural drawings, and peg-out information
- Assisting with quantity take-offs, scope reviews, and estimate preparation
- Maintaining and updating house plans, product data, pricing, and components within internal systems
- Managing product updates, promotions, and periodic pricing adjustments
- Preparing and processing variations for administration
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies through analysis and problem-solving
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate pricing and project data
- Supporting general administrative duties and wider team functions as required
- Attending weekly sales and internal team meetings
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in residential estimating, drafting, construction administration, or sales support
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings and documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- A proactive, self-motivated and reliable approach to work
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Experience with estimating or construction management software (industry-specific systems highly regarded)
