A respected and thriving custom home builder based in Perth is seeking an experienced Scheduler / Estimator to join their collaborative, forward-thinking team.
Renowned for delivering architecturally inspired, one-of-a-kind residences, this builder specialises in high-quality double-storey homes crafted with originality, precision, and care.
With a strong and steady pipeline of bespoke homes ranging from $1M to $3M, they continue to expand and innovate, and will soon be implementing a 3D take-off system to further streamline estimating and scheduling accuracy.
This role combines both estimating and scheduling responsibilities, offering involvement across the full pre-construction process. You’ll work closely with internal design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost planning, efficient scheduling, and seamless delivery from concept through to contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-scope estimating from initial design through to final contract documentation
- Preparing detailed Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and trade comparisons
- Developing and maintaining accurate project schedules and timelines
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Reviewing and negotiating trade pricing and supplier quotes
- Supporting procurement strategies and early-stage project planning
- Assisting with value management and cost optimisation
- Contribute to preparation for the upcoming 3D take-off system
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Scheduler within custom or high-end residential construction
- Strong knowledge of double-storey construction is essential
- Solid understanding of construction techniques, finishes, and Perth market rates
- Experience using estimating or scheduling software (Truth Engine highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
