Design & Build are currently working with a long standing national client to identify a Scheduler on a contract basis to work on a Power Station project.
The contract will start ASAP and run through until the end of the year - DIDO initially until the shutdown in September where you will be required on site full time for 2 months.

As a Project Scheduler, you'll play a key role in keeping our power plant project running smoothly and on time. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schedules that guide all phases of the project—from construction and commissioning to maintenance and planned outages.
Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day:
- Build and maintain project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring all activities are accurately sequenced and resources are accounted for.
- Coordinate with multiple teams —engineering, procurement, construction, and operations—to gather inputs and keep the schedule up to date.
- Monitor progress against the schedule and flag any delays or risks early so the team can course-correct.
- Plan and schedule plant outages in detail, working closely with operations and maintenance to ensure downtime is minimized and safety is prioritized.
- Run weekly or biweekly schedule reviews to keep everyone aligned and provide updates on progress, upcoming work, and any critical path concerns.
- Analyze schedule impacts from changes or unforeseen events, and work with stakeholders to re-baseline or re-prioritize as needed.
- Prepare reports and visuals that clearly communicate schedule performance, key milestones, and lookaheads for leadership and project stakeholders.
- 5+ years' experience as a Scheduler/Planner
- Previous experience on power plants and outages is highly desirable
Strong P6 & MS Project capabilities - Available for 6 days a week from September to December
