Melbourne CBD | National Architecture Practice

A leading national architecture and design practice is seeking a Senior Bid Coordinator to lead and support major submissions across its national studio network from Melbourne.

This is a strategic and hands-on role suited to someone with an architecture background who understands the pace, language and complexity of architectural projects and can translate that into compelling, high-quality submissions and presentations.

Working closely with directors, sector leaders and project teams across Australia, you’ll play a key role in helping shape and secure significant public, civic, education, transport and infrastructure opportunities.

The Role
  • Lead coordination of bids, EOIs, tenders and capability submissions across national studios
  • Manage bid timelines, workflows and internal stakeholder coordination
  • Work directly with architects, directors and leadership teams to shape submission strategy and messaging
  • Write, edit and refine project narratives, methodologies and capability statements
  • Coordinate interview presentations and pitch material
  • Maintain consistency, quality and brand standards across all submissions
  • Support ongoing business development and strategic pursuits nationally
About You
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience within architecture or the built environment sector
  • Background in architecture, interior architecture or design strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in bids, submissions, marketing coordination or practice operations within an architecture studio
  • Strong understanding of architectural projects, terminology and procurement processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Advanced Adobe InDesign skills essential
  • Confident, proactive and calm under pressure
  • Strong eye for detail, layout and visual communication
Why This Opportunity
  • National leadership exposure within a highly respected design practice
  • Opportunity to work across major city-shaping and public projects
  • Collaborative and design-led culture
  • Strategic role with real influence across the business
  • Melbourne CBD studio location with flexible working options
This role would suit someone who enjoys the intersection of architecture, communication, strategy and design, and is looking to step into a nationally influential position within a leading practice.
