Senior Contracts Administrator
An established and highly respected commercial builder is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join its growing team in Brisbane.
With a strong pipeline of projects (majority coming from repeat clients) across the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and mixed-use sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for delivering high-quality new build and fit out projects and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
You will work closely with Project Managers and site teams and will take ownership of the commercial administration of projects from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, negotiation and contract awards.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and supplier packages.
- Assess and process progress claims, variations and extensions of time.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Assist with head contract administration and client correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project documentation requirements.
- Support project delivery teams to achieve commercial and program objectives.
- 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Administration role within commercial new build or fit out projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
