Senior Contracts Administrator
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join a highly regarded Tier 1 construction business on a landmark $800M healthcare project.
This is a major project environment suited to a capable and proven performer who has a strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects and is comfortable managing complex commercial and contractual requirements.
You will be working as part of a high-performing project team, you will take ownership of key commercial and contractual responsibilities across the project, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client.
The Role
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontract agreements
- Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and contractual correspondence
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Managing commercial risks and resolving contractual issues
- Working closely with the project team to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders
- Experience working on large-scale projects valued at $80M+
- A strong background within commercial, healthcare, infrastructure or similarly complex construction environments
- Proven experience independently managing significant subcontract packages
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to operate effectively in a large project team
- A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Experience with CHEOPS, ProcurePro, Payapps or Aconex would be highly advantageous
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
