Great opportunity for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a well respected commercial builder delivering high-quality projects across Canberra.
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in the successful financial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to completion. This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to be part of a collaborative and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements
- Assess and process subcontractor claims and variations
- Lead procurement activities and package letting
- Monitor project costs, risks, and contractual compliance
- Assist Project Managers with project delivery and commercial strategy
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting throughout delivery
- 7+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering projects in Australia
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent financial and cost management skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar preferred
