Public Sector People are working exclusively with a local council in Sydney who are seeking a Senior Coordinator Corporate Planning & Performance
to join them on an initial 3 month contract.
You will help to drive strategic planning, performance and improvement across Council. We're seeking an experienced and strategic individual to oversee Council's integrated planning and performance frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and coordination of Council’s Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Resourcing Strategy.
- Ensure compliance with the Local Government Act 1993 and reporting requirements.
- Develop and embed a performance management framework and key performance indicators.
- Drive continuous improvement and service reviews across the organisation.
- Provide expert advice on planning, performance, data analysis and strategy
- Tertiary qualifications in business, planning, management, corporate planning or related field.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, reporting and performance in local government or similar.
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, analysis and change management.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- 3 month contract with possibility of extension or permanency
- Agile working policy with WFH
- Easily accessible by public transport
