Senior Draftsperson

A growing and well-regarded residential builder in Perth is seeking a Senior Draftsperson to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced drafting professional with around 2 years' experience in residential drafting who is ready to step into a senior position and take on more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed working drawings for residential single-storey homes using Archicad
• Interpret and apply the National Construction Code and Residential Design Codes (R-Codes) to all designs
• Review and check drawings for compliance, accuracy, and constructability
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure consistency and quality throughout the drafting process
• Support and mentor junior drafting team members when required
• Communicate effectively with team members, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all documentation
• Contribute positively to a team environment and uphold strong professional standards

• Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or similar drafting/design qualification)
• 2+ years' experience in residential drafting for WA projects, ideally within the project home or volume builder market
• High proficiency in Archicad
• Strong technical knowledge of NCC and local design regulations
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A proactive mindset and strong work ethic
