With a strong pipeline of high-value work, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design function on flagship projects.
The Role
This is a purely design-focused position, taking ownership of electrical building services design across major projects. You’ll operate in a senior capacity, overseeing engineers, driving design outcomes, and acting as a key client interface throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design across major building services projects
- Produce and review detailed designs, calculations, and specifications
- Mentor and support junior/intermediate engineers
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure design is practical and buildable
- Engage with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements
- Strong experience in electrical building services design
- Proven track record on large-scale projects (ideally mission critical)
- Experience in a senior/lead design role
- Confident in a client-facing environment
- D&C or contractor-side experience highly regarded
- Up to $170k + Super
