Reporting into the leadership team, you will take ownership of the full estimating and tendering process, playing a key role in securing upcoming projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identifying value engineering opportunities
- Managing multiple tenders and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting the project team through handover once work is secured
- Supermarket upgrades and store extensions
- Retail refurbishments and shop fit-outs
- National retail rollouts
- Commercial fit-outs and minor works packages
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in estimating within commercial construction or fit-outs
- Experience pricing retail, refurbishment, or fast-track projects
- Strong understanding of subcontractor markets and pricing
- Ability to review drawings and specifications in detail
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
