An established and well regarded commercial builder is entering an exciting phase of growth in NSW and is looking to strengthen its estimating team with the appointment of s Senior Estimator.
The business has built a strong reputation delivering government projects and projects in complex live environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company at the right moment with exciting growth opportunities ahead. You will be working alongside experienced Tier 1 leadership and helping shape the next stage of the business.
Working closely with senior leadership and the preconstruction team, you will play an important role in pricing and securing upcoming projects across a diverse range of sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Subcontractor engagement and pricing analysis
- Value engineering and cost planning support
- Assisting in the preparation of competitive tender strategies
- Working closely with the delivery team to ensure smooth project handover
About You:
- 5+ years estimating experience within the Australian or New Zealand construction market
- Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builder
- Exposure to projects in the $10m–$50m range
- Strong understanding of local subcontractor markets
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive mindset and desire to progress your career
