Position: Senior HR Manager

Opportunity for a Senior HR Manager
to join one of Australia's largest engineering companies, that operate in a diverse range of exciting projects in the various sectors (energy, infrastructure, renewables, manufacturing, defence, construction, aviation)
As the Senior HR Manager you will be responsible for leading and overseeing HR operations across several states in Australia.
The role offers an enticing blend of both strategic & operational HR elements, working within highly complex project environments.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters, providing guidance to project teams and collaborating with other departments to optimize HR processes and drive business success.
What you can expect to have oversight and leadership of:
- HR Strategy: define and align the HR strategy within your regions
- HR Team management: Leaderships of a large team of HR professionals
- Employee Relations: primary escalation point for HR teams, offering expert guidance on complex employee relations issues.
- Client interface: Present HR strategies and frameworks to clients, highlighting the company’s commitment to workforce planning and effective HR management.
- Leadership & Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, supporting HR teams and employees in their career progression and skills development.
- Manage HR Cycles: support HR cycle activities, including Performance Reviews, Remuneration Reviews, and Capability Reviews.
- Workforce Planning: develop detailed workforce plans as projects transition to live stages, ensuring the right HR resources are allocated
- Recruitment: lead the regional recruitment team s
- Cross Department Collaboration: the HR representative that takes ownership in collaboration on business objectives in partnership with all over function heads in the business
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or related field.
- 10+ years experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
- Ideally experienced working in an engineering, construction or manufacturing lead business so that you have the relevant ER/IR legislative knowledge.
- Exposure to managing operations spread across different regions / sites.
