Senior HSE Advisor - SOR

HSE Advisor – Civil Construction

Our client is a leading Civil and Engineering Construction companies with focus on earthwork, subdivisions, and civils. They have offices in the Perth metro and southwest regions and are currently seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join the team on projects south of the river.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Help develop 2 junior advisors in the region. 
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide HSE training and support to site personnel, fostering a culture of safety and awareness.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor and review risk assessments and safe work method statements (SWMS) to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

Desired Experience:

• Cert IV Work, Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working in the civil industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices specific to the construction sector.
