Senior Infrastructure Services Officer

This state department is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Services Officer to join their Infrastructure Services team. This role will focus on service maintenance oversight, including the collection, assessment, and prioritization of critical plant data across a portfolio of more than 1,600 locations.
  
  
Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and prioritize critical plant data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Review and validate condition assessment data, focusing on assets rated 1 (very poor) and 2 (poor).
• Analyze previous service reports to confirm condition ratings.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records.
• Provide monthly updates to the Manager and Director.
• Participate in working groups for project establishment, design, and prioritization.
• Perform SAP functions, including raising purchase orders and notifications.
• Upload relevant content to SharePoint and contribute to process improvements.

• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to assess infrastructure condition and make clear recommendations.
• Experience in service maintenance, asset management, or facilities services.
• Proven ability to deliver results within deadlines while managing competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide advice across teams and regions.
• Confidence in preparing reports, submissions, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach, working effectively in teams and across projects.
• High-level personal drive, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• This role may involve travel and overnight stays.
• You’ll report directly to the nominated Manager but may work across different teams within the branch.
