A major focus of the role will be working with a major hospitality group, across a diverse portfolio of projects including gaming venues, hotels, bistros and other F&B environments.
The Role
You’ll take the lead from the initial concept stage through to delivery, developing the overall design vision before working with the wider team to document and deliver the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of a major hospitality client relationship and acting as a key point of contact.
- Developing creative and commercially considered interior design concepts for F&B and hospitality projects.
- Remaining hands-on with design while providing direction to the wider team.
- Working closely with the team as they develop documentation, schedules and project deliverables.
- Managing consultants and coordinating with external project stakeholders.
- Managing client communication, expectations, feedback and project updates.
- Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
- Attending client and consultant meetings and confidently presenting design concepts and solutions.
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the hospitality design portfolio.
You’ll be an experienced Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in F&B, hospitality or related commercial interiors.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience delivering F&B and/or hospitality projects.
- Is highly confident and polished in a client-facing environment.
- Can develop a strong overarching design concept and communicate the vision effectively.
- Enjoys a balance of creative design, project management and hands-on work.
- Has strong consultant coordination and project management skills.
- Is commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership of a major client relationship.
- Can work collaboratively with a wider design and documentation team.
- Is confident managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Has excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
