Seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to take the lead with a fabulous Workplace Design & Construction practice. This studio is based in the heart of Brisbane's CBD and are highly motivated to deliver premium, design-driven projects for major clients in QLD specialising in workplace design.
The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer that thrives in a client facing environment, enjoys running projects on their own and providing mentorship and support to the graduate designers. You’ll play a key role in helping shape workplace environments, balancing creativity with technical delivery and ensuring projects are well-coordinated and buildable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings and presentations, interpreting briefs into design solutions.
- Manage full design develop process from from initial concept through detailed design documentation and specifications,
- Prepare initial space planning, mood boards, materials and finishes.
- Produce and coordinate a full set of design documentation for construction
- Oversee multiple projects at once, maintaining project timelines and ensuring consistent design quality and standards throughout delivery
- Collaborate with internal project and delivery teams
- At least 7 years’ post grad design experience
- Commercial Workplace design / Fitout preferred
- Proficiency in Revit and Enscape(essential)
- Confident in front of clients & leading presentations.
- Strong front end concept stage experience
