We are seeking a highly capable Senior Investigation Officer to lead sensitive and complex investigations across governance, conduct, staffing and disciplinary matters within a progressive Council in Metropolitan Sydney.

About the role:
- Lead and manage complex investigations relating to Code of Conduct, misconduct, performance and governance matters
- Apply risk-based investigation methodologies and administrative law principles
- Gather, analyse and synthesise evidential material
- Prepare detailed, impartial reports with clear findings and recommendations
- Identify systemic issues, trends and organisational risks
About you:
- Extensive experience conducting sensitive and complex investigations (preferably within local government or regulatory/public sector environments)
- Strong understanding of administrative law and procedural fairness
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Investigations, or related discipline
- Extensive recent investigation experience
