Project: Large scale energy tender
Location: North Sydney
Duration: 5 month fixed term contract
Salary: $200-$250k
Looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor and support the tender phase of a large renewable energy project.
As the Senior Project Engineer you will provide technical and construction input into the tender, with a key focus on planning, methodology and constructability across major civil scopes.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer include:
- Lead constructability input across key packages including:
- Earthworks
- Road construction
- Foundations and structural elements
- Bridge construction (piles, decks, girders)
- Develop and review construction methodologies and staging strategies
- Support planning for heavy haulage and access routes (incl. oversized equipment transport)
- Provide input into traffic management, diversions, lane closures and temporary works
- Review engineering designs to ensure TfNSW standards
- Coordinate across engineering, survey and construction disciplines
- Degree qualified Civil engineer
- Experienced in delivering road & bridge projects in NSW for Tier 1 contractors
- Understanding of TfNSW standards
- Ability to review and challenge designs from a construction perspective
- Available to commence in mid April and commit to an initial 5 month period.
