Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a solid background in rail and track works.
This is a great opportunity to step into a senior role where you will take ownership of project delivery, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with Project Managers on complex rail packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on track works
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure program and budget targets are achieved
- Provide technical guidance across construction methodologies, staging, and sequencing
- Drive QA, compliance, and safety outcomes across all project activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and rail authorities
- Support project planning, forecasting, and cost control
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer within rail
- Strong background in track works(construction, maintenance, or renewals)
- Experience working on live rail environments and possession planning
- Solid understanding of rail standards, specifications, and safety requirements
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and forecasts
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
