Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage building projects across all phases — predesign, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-occupancy evaluation.
- Serve as the key interface with clients, maintaining strong communication and ensuring operational requirements are met.
- Manage procurement activities for building projects, including contractual aspects and parameters of time, cost, and quality.
- Liaise with client representatives to ensure projects align with organizational and stakeholder requirements.
- Engage, liaise with, and coordinate external consultants and internal Portfolio staff throughout all stages of project delivery.
- Provide expert advice to client representatives on procurement strategies and project programming.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Unit Quality Assurance policies and operational procedures.
- Maintain project data in Ellipse, including billing, scheduling, reporting, and contract payment authorization.
- Apply and promote employment equity, workplace health and safety, and diversity principles in all aspects of project management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Project Management or Construction Management (or equivalent qualification).
Highly Desirable Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in project contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver projects within agreed time, cost, and quality frameworks.
- Sound knowledge of government or large-scale infrastructure project environments.
