The Opportunity As Project Manager, Capital Works, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. The project portfolio will primarily focus on buildings, with additional exposure to public domain upgrades, town centre revitalisation projects, streetscapes, parks, roads, stormwater, and other public assets.
You will oversee the full project lifecycle including design management, procurement, contract administration, and project delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to a high standard. The role will also involve stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council frameworks.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing both the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects
- Strong procurement and contract administration experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and White Card
