We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer
to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the public sector. This role will see you working in a high-performing ICT environment, providing critical coordination and governance support across multiple projects driving modernisation and innovation.
About the Role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, helping keep deliverables on track, documentation up to date, and stakeholders informed.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Provide project and program support across a portfolio of digital initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, registers, reports and documentation.
- Track budgets, milestones and performance data to assist in informed decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and governance forums including agenda prep, minutes and action tracking.
- Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support seamless project delivery.
- Manage documentation and records across systems such as SharePoint, eDRMS, Microsoft Project, Planner, DevOps, and SAP.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project or Senior Project Officer supporting ICT or digital projects.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile, or MSP).
- Experience with project tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, SAP and similar systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience preparing reports, managing budgets, and tracking deliverables in complex environments.
