Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Advise and support the leadership team in matters of risk management, using risk tools, understanding the risk appetite statement and various other related risk documents.
- Coordinate and deliver specific training and development initiatives designed to strengthen risk management activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the organisations risk management framework, policy and process.
- provide high quality advice to management and staff on contemporary risk management, issues, and trends.
- Research and analysing complex and sensitive performance and risk management issues in accordance with government procedures and legislative requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and staff impacted by risk management activities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Risk management
- 3+ years of experience working within a similar position.
- Government experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in a leadership position, or someone looking to take that next step into a leadership role.
- Strong attention to detail
- WFH 2 days a week
- Pay rate from $76-$86 per hour + Super
