They are seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to partner with project teams across Queensland, providing hands-on HSE leadership while supporting continuous improvement across the business.
The Role
- Partner with project teams, subcontractors and senior leaders to drive a positive safety culture across multiple projects throughout Queensland.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
- Support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of WHS management systems, policies and procedures.
- Review SWMS, provide practical safety advice and ensure compliance with legislative and company requirements.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams, influencing positive safety behaviours across both manufacturing and construction environments.
- Hybrid position with a combination of site and work-from-home flexibility.
- Previous experience as a Senior Safety Advisor or Safety Advisor
- Experience working across manufacturing, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, modular or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, contractor management, incident investigations and risk management.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and capable of working autonomously across multiple sites.
- Willingness to travel across Queensland as required.
- Competitive salary package of up to $200,000, depending on experience.
