A well-established Tier 2 commercial builder with a strong reputation for engineering excellence and delivering large, complex projects across NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a major commercial development.
This builder is known for its hands-on leadership, low staff turnover, and resourcing projects properly to ensure safe, efficient delivery. You’ll join a high-performing team that backs its site leaders with the support, systems and manpower needed to hit program on fast-paced, technically challenging builds.
The project is a $450M multi-storey commercial facility, with a large structure, complex services, and a fast-paced program with significant focus on planning, sequencing and safe delivery.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day site operations on a major commercial build
- Drive program, resourcing, sequencing, and construction efficiency
- Manage Site Managers, Supervisors and a large site team
- Ensure high standards of WHS, quality and subcontractor performance
- Solve problems quickly, coordinate with design/engineering, and maintain momentum
- Proven experience delivering complex new build construction projects valued $100M+ as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager
- Previous Commercial, Health, Education, Transport, or Social Infrastructure projects
- Strong capability across structures and services
- Excellent short-term and long-term programming skills
- Strong leadership, communication and subcontractor management
- Ability to maintain speed, safety and quality on large, resource-heavy sites
