About the Role As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the structural design, analysis, and documentation across a variety of critical infrastructure projects. Your deep understanding of construction methods and structural behaviour, along with advanced software proficiency, will be key to your success in this role.
You’ll work closely with in-house engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient designs from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• As the Senior Structural Engineer you'll lead and manage the structural engineering design of infrastructure projects
• This Senior Structural Engineer will perform detailed structural analysis and modelling using Space Gass and Idea Statica
• The Senior Structural Engineer will assess and select suitable materials and construction methods based on project requirements
• The Senior Structural Engineer will prepare and review engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• The Senior Structural Engineer will liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and authorities throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
• Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, codes, and safety regulations

• Bachelor's degree in  Structural Engineering
• Minimum years of structural engineering experience, preferably with 5 years design consultancy experience 
• High level of personal drive and ownership
• Takes initiative to solve problems 
• Proven hands-on experience with a range of construction methods and materials (steel, concrete, precast, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software, especially Space Gass and Idea Statica
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards and building codes
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
