The Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee all structural works on site, with a focus on FRP components, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise teams on structural activities, including FRP, steel, and concrete structures
- Ensure all works comply with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards, particularly FRP applications.
- Implement and enforce WHS, quality, and environmental procedures on FIFO sites.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedule and quality.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve technical or site-related issues proactively.
- Mentor and develop junior supervisors and site personnel to achieve operational excellence.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience supervising structural works on large-scale construction projects, with direct FRP experience(mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of FRP works and concrete
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and site coordination.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, quality standards, and environmental compliance, including FIFO site operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and ability to work on FIFO rosters to regional project sites.
- Work on large-scale, innovative renewable energy projects across Australia with a strong pipeline of work.
