The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our Sydney-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of bakery equipment across customer sites. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and minimising downtime for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Service Technician you will diagnose and rectify technical faults and breakdowns at customer sites
- This Service Technician will perform installation, commissioning, and testing of bakery equipment
- The Service Technician will deliver operator training to customers on equipment use and maintenance
- This Service Technician will carry out preventative maintenance and service work
- This Service Technician role will require travel to customer sites across Sydney and interstate as required
- The Service Technician will provide technical support and maintain strong customer relationships
- As the Service Technician you will complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
- Mechanical background with a restricted electrical licence, or fully qualified Electrician
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with food or bakery equipment (highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel as required
