My client is seeking a capable and driven Site Lead Operations Manager to take the reins and lead a key regional site into its next phase of growth.
About the Role
As the Site Lead Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the rural site – overseeing production, ensuring compliance, optimising operational performance, and leading a passionate, hardworking team. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the strategic and operational success of the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of site operations including production, safety, logistics, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and environmental regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime
- Manage, develop, and inspire a diverse team across multiple departments
- Oversee budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration
- Act as the primary site liaison with head office and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in an operations, production, or site management role (preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, or agriculture)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Solid understanding of compliance, WHS, and quality standards
- Ability to drive operational improvements and manage change
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
