Site Manager
Design and Build are looking for a Site Manager with a passion for overseeing industrial new build projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client’s tight knit team and assist them in their current projects and those in the pipeline. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our new industrial build projects within Perth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the build. Take charge and own your project.
- Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify, and resolve any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site records, project look-a-heads, and safety records.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial build projects - $20 million +.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices in industrial builds.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
