Site Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is working with a tier 3 design and construct company who are looking for an experienced site manager to join their team in Brisbane.
Focusing on commercial and industrial construction, there is a strong pipeline of projects for the successful candidate. You will be joining a family friendly team who offer flexibility in exchange for hard work and dedication.
Our client is looking for a North Brisbane based site manager to run a multistorey commercial D&C project. The successful applicant will have relevant site management experience in the Commercial Construction industry, having worked on multistorey projects previously valued above $10M. Tower cranes and structures experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, & subcontractors
- Develop and implement construction schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality
- Foster a positive, high performing, & collaborative working environment
- Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial new build projects $10M+
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices
- Excellent leadership
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
- Values teamwork and camaraderie
