We’re seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager for a short-term fit out/refurbishment project at a Defence project in South-West Sydney.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the site, ensuring safety, quality, and timeline adherence.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Monitor progress and prepare reports for senior management.
- Resolve issues or delays promptly and professionally.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.
- Defence experience is essential – only candidates with prior experience managing projects on live Defence sites will be considered
- Must hold a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
- Australian Citizen with a clean criminal record (mandatory for site access)
- Proven experience delivering refurbishments in live environments
- Strong communication and site coordination skills
