Design & Build are seeking a Site Manager to join our client, who is an award-winning construction company specialising in custom and high-end residential projects across Melbourne. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and lead the successful execution of custom and high-end residential projects valued up to $6m. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 3 projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards within specified timeframes and budgets.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage and lead custom residential projects from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with company standards of excellence.
  • Site Management: Oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and costs, working closely with the project management team to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet or exceed the specified quality standards, collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers to resolve any issues.
  • Timely Delivery: Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively addressing delays and obstacles to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns and requests.
  • Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any on-site challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor on-site staff, including laborers, subcontractors, and other team members.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, with a proven track record of managing custom and high-end residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, methods, and materials.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
