About the Role
- Lead day-to-day operations on site, from planning and groundworks through to handover.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and labour to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS / safety regulations, quality control standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources — proactively address any delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for senior management.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain alignment on project objectives.
- Drive site presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
- Mentor and lead the site team, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or supervisory role within commercial or multi-res construction.
- Strong technical knowledge: ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination ability.
