This is a short-term 6-week contract focused on closing out the project, ensuring all finishing works, defect management, and final coordination are delivered to a high standard. The role will suit a hands-on Site Manager with strong fitout experience who can quickly integrate with the team and drive the project through to completion.
The Role
You will take ownership of the site during the final stages of the build, coordinating trades, managing quality, and ensuring the project reaches practical completion smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations during the final fitout stages
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and finishing trades
- Driving defect resolution and quality assurance
- Ensuring programme milestones are met in the lead-up to completion
- Maintaining site safety and compliance
- Liaising with the project team, consultants, and client representatives
- Supporting practical completion, commissioning, and handover
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fitout projects
- Strong understanding of end-of-project delivery, defects, and close-out processes
- Ability to step into an active site and quickly take control of operations
- Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills
- Solid knowledge of site safety and compliance requirements

- Competitive contract rates:
- Up to $75 per hour + super (PAYG)
- Up to $84 per hour + GST (ABN)
