This role will initially be on a contract basis, supporting a live project while the business recruits permanently, with the potential to transition into a long-term position.
The Project
You will be delivering the internal fit out of a large-scale data centre, with a strong focus on coordination of services, programme, and quality across data halls.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all on-site activities and programme delivery
- Coordinating trades and driving subcontractor performance
- Overseeing site establishment, logistics, and planning
- Monitoring quality to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications
- Managing site teams and maintaining clear communication with the Project Manager and CA
- Ensuring strong safety leadership and site compliance
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects (data centre or services-heavy fitout experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of subcontractor coordination and services integration
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to drive programme
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes
