The Role
- Start Date: 8th June
- 8–10 week contract
- $70–$75 per hour
- 40–45 hours per week
- Lightweight demolition works
- Partition wall installation and plasterboard systems
- Building services additions and modifications
- Joinery installation
- Floor finishes
- Painting
- Furniture installation
- Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades and subcontractors
- Liaising closely with local medical centre staff to minimise disruption to live operations
- Managing short-term programmes and two-week lookaheads
- Coordinating labour, materials and site logistics efficiently
- Conducting toolbox talks, pre-starts and SWMS observations
- Driving safety compliance and maintaining high-quality site standards
- Ensuring projects are delivered defect free and ready for handover
- Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects
- Previous experience working within live healthcare or medical environments highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of Procore
- Experience using 1Breadcrumb, HammerTech or Sign On Site
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Safety-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
