The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from commencement through to completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Drive site safety culture and ensure compliance with OH&S requirements
- Monitor construction programmes and proactively manage project milestones
- Conduct site meetings and liaise with consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are maintained throughout the build
- Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation
- Assist in achieving project budgets and programme targets
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering industrial, warehouse, commercial, or high-end residential projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of Australian building standards and OH&S legislation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Current White Card and relevant construction qualifications
