They are looking to appoint a Site Manager for a $200M education project in North West Sydney. The project is currently in early stages and will involve complex staging, structure, services coordination and high-quality finishes.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors across all stages of construction
- Ensure site team and subcontractors are meeting programme, safety and quality expectations
- Monitor subcontractor performance daily and address any safety, quality or programme issues
- Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering new build projects in Sydney valued at $100M+
- Experience delivering education, commercial, mixed-use or health projects preferred
- Proven ability to effectively manage subcontractors and site teams
- Strong understanding of site safety, compliance, and complex structural and finishes packages
