The Role:
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all site-based construction activities from commencement through to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Managing site safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project plans, specifications and programme
- Monitoring project progress and driving programme outcomes
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving issues on site
- Maintaining a high standard of site presentation, quality and workmanship
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong commercial construction background and a proven ability to successfully deliver projects of a similar scale.
You will ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
- Experience delivering new build projects
- Strong subcontractor and site management skills
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes, safety and quality
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain project momentum
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Relevant construction qualifications and site-based experience
