Site Manager

Design and Build are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a passion for overseeing commercial new build projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client’s tight knit team and assist them in their current exponential growth. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of a new multistorey commercial build project, valued at $50M and located on the Gold Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client, with a strong pipeline of future projects and a fantastic work culture.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the build.
  • Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify, and resolve any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site records, project look-a-heads, and safety records.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on multistorey commercial build projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • QBCC license
