About the Role
As Store Leader, you’ll oversee all aspects of the showroom - from delivering an exceptional customer journey to achieving sales targets, managing a small team, and maintaining a visually stunning retail environment. You’ll lead by example, drive performance, and foster a positive, high-energy team culture.

About You
- 5–10+ years’ experience in retail store management, ideally within the homewares, furniture, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven success in driving sales, managing teams, and maintaining outstanding store presentation.
- Passionate about customer experience and design-led retail.
- Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, operations, and scheduling.
- Confident using POS systems, CRM tools, and Google Workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver a world-class in-store and post-purchase experience.
- Achieve and exceed sales and conversion targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- Build long-term relationships through personalised clienteling and service excellence.
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect the brand’s story and values.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Create a motivating, supportive environment built on trust and accountability.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to drive engagement and consistency.
- Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising.
- Maintain showroom presentation to reflect seasonal and promotional updates.
- Manage rosters, timesheets, and budgets to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, security, and operational procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators including sales, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with head office teams across marketing, product, and logistics to deliver campaigns, product launches, and customer deliveries.
- Provide reporting and insights to inform business strategy.
