We are currently seeking 5 Streetscape Labourers to join Inner West Council’s streetscape maintenance crews. This is a great temporary opportunity for candidates with experience in parks, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labouring.
Position Details
- Role: Street Scapes Labourer
- Council: Inner West Council
- Location: St Peters / Catherine Street Depots
- Pay Rate:$36.13 per hour + Super
- Engagement: Casual
- Start Date: Monday, 13 July 2026 - Wednesday, 30 September 2026
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 2:45pm
- Verge mowing and general streetscape maintenance
- Whipper snipping, edging and grass maintenance
- Operating small plant and landscaping equipment
- Litter removal and maintaining clean public spaces
- Working safely as part of a crew
- Previous experience in streetscape, parks, landscaping or grounds maintenance
- Experience operating mowing equipment and hand tools
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
