We are seeking an experienced and driven Structural Engineering Manager to join a global organisation based in Parramatta. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee and mentor a team of Structural Engineers while delivering high-quality, innovative engineering solutions across a range of data centre projects.
You will play a critical role in shaping engineering practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- As Structural Engineering Manager you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Structural Engineers to achieve high performance and professional growth
- The Structural Engineering Manager will manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- This Structural Engineering Manager will oversee structural design and analysis, with a strong focus on structural steel and lightweight steel frameworks
- The Structural Engineering Manager will utilise advanced structural analysis software, including Space Gass and Idea Statica
- As the Structural Engineering Manager you'll develop and implement engineering processes, procedures, and technical documentation
- Act as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical guidance and strategic input across projects and business operations
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) status
- Strong expertise in structural steel design, including lightweight steel structures
- Advanced proficiency in Space Gass and Idea Statica
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage engineering teams
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
