Key Responsibilities
- Ensure contract obligations are applied honestly, fairly and consistently.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure project meetings are held and documented.
- Issue variation orders, assess claims, and manage contractor RFIs.
- Ensure all compliance inspections are completed and recorded in accordance with the Building Act.
- Support the Superintendent in resolving disputes and maintaining contract compliance.
- Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding time, cost, and quality matters.
- Implement and maintain contract administration policies and post-contract performance evaluation procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in reviews of QA procedures.
- Promote and apply workplace health & safety and employment equity standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience supervising major construction or engineering contracts.
- Contract administration & management experience
- Strong understanding of contract law, dispute resolution, and construction compliance.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader project team.
- Knowledge of state gov project procedures or the ability to quickly adapt to internal systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
