You will play a key role in preparing tender and quotation documentation, managing resources and subcontractors, and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and high-quality tender and quotation documentation for maintenance contracts and building projects.
- Prepare detailed estimates, quotations, project trade packages, material lists and construction programs.
- Supervise the delivery of maintenance, construction and upgrade works, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with QBuild standards.
- Undertake condition assessments and inspections of building elements and materials, including collecting samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials for testing.
- Deliver tenancy management services and maintenance referrals for Government Employee Housing.
- Promote and represent the departments services to clients, identifying opportunities for new and enhanced business services.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety and compliance with HR policies and practices.
- Manage the work performance, conduct and professional development of staff.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card (Construction White Card).
- Current Driver’s License.
Highly Desirable
- Trade Certificate or equivalent building and construction industry qualification.
- Experience in estimating, supervising, and delivering building and maintenance projects within a government or large organizational framework.
