This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing piling crews across major infrastructure, commercial, and transport projects.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of piling operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising CFA, bored piers, driven piles, and anchoring crews on site
- Coordinating plant, subcontractors, and materials
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, ITPs, and QA requirements
- Managing daily site reporting, pre-starts, and toolbox talks
- Monitoring productivity, programme, and cost control
- Driving a strong safety culture across all piling activities
- Liaising with engineers, clients, and senior management
- Proven experience supervising piling works (CFA, bored, secant, driven piles)
- Strong knowledge of ground engineering and foundation systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage crews and subcontractors
- Solid understanding of QA documentation and civil specifications
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and geotechnical reports
- White Card (essential)
- Relevant civil or trade qualifications (desirable)
