About the Role
The Store Manager – The Conscious Closet is a hands on leadership role responsible for the end to end management of this growing NFP.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead all aspects of retail operations, from driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience, through to overseeing stock, visual merchandising and day to day store performance. In addition, you will have oversight of warehouse operations, ensuring the effective flow, processing and management of stock to support retail outcomes.
You will manage and develop a diverse team of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative, high performing culture while ensuring strong alignment to organisational values. About You
You are an experienced retail or customer facing leader who thrives in a fast paced, hands on environment.
You bring strong people leadership capability, with the ability to engage, motivate and develop both staff and volunteers. Commercially minded, you understand how to drive sales, manage competing priorities and deliver a consistently high standard of store presentation and customer experience.
You are also values driven, motivated by sustainability, community impact and the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful. Experience in fashion, second hand retail or social enterprise will be highly regarded, though not essential.
Your approach is practical, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to balance operational delivery with a broader strategic lens.
